We are a small family run kennel in Canberra and our dogs are part of the family, spending their days lazing on the couch or being quite competitive in the show ring. Type and temperament are important to us as is health and preserving this wonderful breed.

We are fortunate enough to have one of us work from home as a hairdresser, so puppies are immersed with noise and people from a very young age; enabling them to be able to start their lives with their new families stress free. All of our dogs are health tested before even being thought about being bred with. Fed high quality food and routine health checks.

Home environment

Puppies are raised in the home. Allowing them to be part of the family and the daily going ons. Having a hairdresser working from home, they always get loads of cuddles and interaction.

Included with our puppies

Puppies go home with the essentials for the best start with their new families. This includes food, grooming tools, and a familiar toy. Dogs Australia pedigree certificate. Age appropriate vaccinations and microchipping. 6 weeks pet insurance and support from us.

Why we got involved in breeding

I first fell in love with the Shar Pei and started doing conformation showing and wanted another dog to continue showing with, but once I lost my first dog at only 3 to a hereditary condition, I made it my mission with the help of wonderful friends to help to improve their health. Whilst being involved in dog shows…

Our special touch

We live in a busy household. A full time work at home hairdresser keeps puppies very very socialised and noise proofed and a health employee whose coworkers love puppies to come in for regular visits. Socialising is certainly not an issue with any of our dogs with people of all ages and surroundings.
