Mucopolysaccharidosis is a genetic lysosomal storage disease that can cause various problems including stunted growth and bone deformities. Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL) is a neurodegenerative disorder found in many breeds of dog. 7 varieties have been identified so far, affecting different breeds. There are DNA tests for each type, to identify whether a breeding dog might be carrying this condition.

About the Breeder

A little about us

My name is Tishara, and I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve wanted to start a breeding program for quite some time, and in 2026 that dream is finally becoming a reality. I’m passionate about raising happy, healthy and well-socialised Dachshunds in a loving home environment.

Why we got involved in breeding

I absolutely love the Dachshund breed. They’re full of personality, energy and are such a loving and affectionate breed. My Bindie has such a beautiful temperament and personality, and I would love to see those wonderful qualities passed on to her puppies. My goal is to raise healthy, happy and well-socialised…

Our special touch

For me, breeding is about so much more than raising puppies. Each puppy will be raised with love, care and plenty of handling in a family environment, with a strong focus on health, temperament and early socialisation. I want to give every puppy the best possible start in life and ensure they go to loving families…
