Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
Our puppies live inside with us and are socialized to all usual household noises including television, music and vacuum cleaners. They are trained to use a doggy door and by 8 to 10 weeks they are mostly toilet trained. As part of our family they interact with visitors both young and elderly.
Health
Our breeding dogs are genetically tested and are free of any known breed defects. They are up to date with worming and vaccination, and the puppies are fed a stew made of meat and vegetables and Black Hawk puppy food. They have marrow bones, toys and carrots to chew on to help with their tooth development.
Home environment
We live in Gippsland Victoria on a half acre block. The puppies are initially inside when they are very small and start to go outside in the back yard when they are four weeks old. From that time they are outside during the day and come inside at night. We spend time playing with them at least twice a day and theyâŚ
Included with our puppies
When our puppies are ready to go to their forever homes their new owners recieve an information pack with tips on how to train and socialise them and the recipe for the puppy stew. When they actually leave us each puppy goes with a soft chewy teddy bear plus a blanket that smells of the litter. We give the new ownersâŚ

Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM) is a heart disease causing an enlarged heart with stretched heart muscle. Affected dogs are high risk of developing life-threatening heart failure as the abnormal heart cannot beat as effectively. There is a genetic test in some breeds to show if a breeding dog is predisposed to DCM.
Genetic Test
This is a genetic disease that affects a variety of breeds. It causes a blood clotting problem resulting in excessive bleeding. There is a DNA test available to ensure a breeding dog will not pass this condition on their puppies.
Genetic Test
Persistent Mullerian Duct Syndrome (MDS) is a condition where a male animal, with normal male genitalia, also possesses a uterus and fallopian tubes. This is caused by an error in development of the reproductive tract in early embryonic development. The condition is often discovered by accident during abdominal surgery. There is a DNA test available to identify if a dog is carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Myotonia Hereditaria/Congenita is a genetic disease that causes muscle problems resulting in a stiff gait and difficulty swallowing. There is a DNA test available to identify whether a breeding dog might be carrying this condition.
Genetic Test

About the Breeder
A little about us
The first time I saw a white miniature schnauzer I fell in love, and my love for this rare dog has only grown the more I get to know about them
Why we got involved in breeding
I love that they are hypoallergenic and non shedding, so no hair around the house. They are smart and easy to train and love people.
Our special touch
We breed only 2 litters a year, so each litter are treated as pets, we dont keep them in concrete runs and outdoor kennels, they live with us the same as our adult dogs.
