Canine Leukocyte Adhesion Deficiency (CLAD), is a genetic blood disorder affecting Irish Setters and Red and White Irish Setters. There is a DNA test available to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this condition.

This is a disease affecting the spinal cord of older dogs, initially causing wobbliness and eventually hindlimb paralysis. It can affect a wide range of breeds. There is now a DNA test that can indicated if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.

Why we got involved in breeding

It was love at first sight with our white German Shepherds. We aim to diversify the bloodlines by introducing American lines to the Australian lines to help create some of the best family dogs for serious applicants who also equally love this breed.

Our special touch

Our Shepherds are our family first and foremost! Having pups is the added joy, and we make sure that they have the best of everything.
