Our Breeding Practices

Behaviour and socialisation

Our dogs live inside the house within our busy family household. They are very used to people and get used to all the usual noises both inside the house and within our residential area where we have a large yard with obstacle course in which they can regularly play. Being retired I spend lots of time with our dogs…

Health

Our dogs are fed a very healthy and varied raw food diet, mixed in with different blends of kibble and supplemented with probiotics to optimise their gut health and immune system. I prefer not to allow adoptive owners to visit the puppies until they have completed their first round of vaccinations as an ultimate…

Home environment

We live in a small closed circuit residential area with fully enclosed yard space both front and back within the beautiful and luscious Hunter Valley region. There is minimal thoroughfare traffic so the surrounds are safe and fairly quiet and our dogs have access to go between the indoors and outside as they please.…

Canine Elliptocytosis is a rare genetic disease causing the red blood cells to be abnormally elliptical in shape, rather than round. About the Breeder

A little about us

I grew up around my mother who bred Poodles for many years where I was very hands on in helping out and developed my fondness, love and respect for dogs. I am now a retired mother of 3 children after being an Enrolled Nurse and working in Pathology.

Why we got involved in breeding

I have grown up all my life with dogs and with my mum breeding Poodles over many years. I have been fortunate to have been passed down the knowledge of providing the ultimate care for dogs and be extremely responsible and ethical in my approach and practice. I am very much a hands on person coming from a science…

Our special touch

I will only home my pups to people who I have had many interactions with beforehand and come personally to collect them and will therefore provision a pet carrier bed with my pups for new owners to take them home comfortably and safely.
