Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
All our puppies undergo ENS and our own professional touch to raising puppies. They are correctly started on socialisation and naturally weaned from their mum. We allow the natural process as it instills in puppies the respect and communication needed to become trainable family companions.
Health
All of my dogs are DNA tested for over 245 genetic diseases, and breed identified. All of my dogs are hip and elbow scored and fall within the international rating of good and excellent hips and 0 elbows.
Home environment
Our family home is a great starting point for our puppies. Raised with my young and older children and with exposure to lots of sights, sounds, smells and challenges. Our puppies go to their new families ready to take on the world. Toilet training is well established, and puppies have a clear understanding of a clean…
Included with our puppies
Our puppies go home up to date on current vaccinations, worming, and throughly vet checked. We provide a written sales agreement that details our health testing, and terms of sale. A small puppy starter pack is provided to help settle puppies and make the transition as easy as possible. (Transport permitting)

Canine Elliptocytosis is a rare genetic disease causing the red blood cells to be abnormally elliptical in shape, rather than round. There is a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.

Congenital eye malformations in Golden Retrievers result from a mutation of the SIX6 gene. These malformations can present as a range of different eye conditions, ranging from poor vision to blindness in one or both eyes. There is a DNA test available to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying the affected gene.

Genetic Test
Von Willebrand’s Disease (VWD/vWD) is a genetic bleeding disorder caused by a lack of a specific clotting factor. There are three forms of the disease, types 1, 2 & 3.
