All our dogs are raised in the home using the most up to date, scientifically backed and kind methods. An expectant dam is always attended, she whelps and rears inside our family home with a reproductive specialist vet on call. One of us will take 2 to 3 weeks off work entirely to ensure she has our undivided…

Additional Tests

Wonderdal Dalmatians conducts 4 additional tests available for the Dalmatian.

dna iconGenetic Test

Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) is a dangerous inflammatory lung condition. A genetic cause has been found in Dalmatians, which can be tested for with a blood test.

stethoscope iconPhysical Test

These breeders have had x-rays taken on their breeding dogs to assess the quality of their elbow joints. Dogs with very low ‘elbow scores’ are less likely to develop elbow problems in the future and less likely to pass hereditary elbow problems on to their puppies.

dna iconGenetic Test

Globoid Cell Leukodystrophy (GCL) is a genetic lysosomal storage disorder that causes neurological problems. It can affect several breeds including Cairn Terriers. There is a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this condition.

dna iconGenetic Test

Hyperuricosuria (HUU) is a genetic disease that causes a build-up of uric acid in the urine, predisposing to painful bladder and kidney stones. It can occur in a range of breeds. There is a DNA test available to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this disease.

About the Breeder

A little about us

Our Names are Maddie and James. We got our first Dalmatian in 2011 and it was love from first sight with this beautiful breed. We began dog school and trying some sports with her and soon after we decided to get a second dalmatian companion. On 2013 we welcomed Perdi - our show potential girl, an absolute sweetie…

We loved the breed and eventually when we started thinking about our next dog we realised there weren't alot of breeders that offered what we personally wanted. Our special touch

Health-tested dogs of beauty, excellent temperament and working intelligence. Reared with the most up to date and scientifically backed protocals. ANKC Australian champions and multi-sport titled dogs.
