Hello, I'm Jacqualine L.

I have been involved with Finnish Lapphunds now for over 17 years, and bred my first litter in 2007. I am a member of a number of Lapphund Clubs around the world, and was the founding and ongoing President of the Finnish Lapphund of Victoria for its first 10 years before taking my "long service leave" break in 2019. I have taken a small step back in committee duties in 2020 as the club's Working Dog Coordinator. I am active in the show ring, but also train and compete with my Finnish Lapphunds in several dog sports, including obedience and agility amongst others. Over my years in the breed I have imported three Finnish Lapphunds, and shared in the import of another. I have also imported frozen semen from a number of males for contribution to our future breeding program. I have also taken several trips to Finland to learn more about the breed in their country of origin.
