Hello, I'm Melissa O.

I would never change my breed as I love the breed, I love devoted they are to you and how much they love to be a lap dog. They are the best to sit one the couch with on a cold night as they are like hot water bottles. When I started showing dogs I was showing Russian black terriers which is a totally different breed. But my heart was always with dalmatians. My first dalmatian was not a show dog but he had the most sweetest temperament that you ever find. He didn’t have a mean bone in body. But I always had my heart set on a liver girl and luck went my way. Lilly came into my life and she made me love the breed even more. Being my first show dalmatian she was my easiest to train and she would do anything for me. I still to this day have never been able to train any the same way as I did her. I was very lucky that other dalmatian breeders took me under their wings. And I began to learn more about the breed and how to look to improve the breed. I would never be where I am now if they didn’t help me when I first started. I love that they would sit down and explain to me how to find the good points about your dog and what to improve on. The most important about breeding is to get good temperaments.
