Hello, I'm Nic and Wendy W.
We are Nic and Wendy, former Professional Dog handlers and trainers, Environmental Scientists, Pet Portrait Artist & former RSPCA member of staff! Nic and Wendy have a combined 15 years working locally in the pet industry..Including running puppy preschool, offering private and group dog training classes, grooming, dog walking and pack adventures. For several years, our day-to-day life included taking all sorts of dogs out for outings. This helped them thrive through exercise and mental stimulation. Plus they got lots of cuddles and treats along the way! In Wendy's RSPCA role, she assisted members of the public to navigate the boarding, grooming, retail and other services and processes. In addition Wendy assisted within the grooming salon as well as the veterinary clinic and boarding facilities, whereby she provided animal husbandry to animals in care before and after surgery and adoption. Additionally, Wendy previously worked for Petstock as a full clip groomer with comprehensive experience in grooming services. During her years grooming across 4 salons she have worked on full-clips, common breed specific clips, dematting, detangling, extras, and special requests. Wendy has been responsible for providing individualized training to members of the public in basic grooming, as well as being appointed to train, supervise and lead a team of other grooming staff. Her role at PetStock also included being nutritionist advisor, animal caretaker, with experience supporting trainers for puppy pre-school. Additionally, Nic and Wendy have a large network of good friends and colleagues in the animal care industry, as well as experience breeding pedigree Beagles with Wendy's family as a child, which included participating in the show ring. Nic and Wendy share a love of all animals great and small, urging us to protect all creatures through Wendy's work as an Environmental Scientist and advocate. Nic and Wendy also honour the animals in our lives and others lives by offering Pet Portraits @wendysarttime We have always had a special soft-spot for dogs (especially cavoodles!) which has lead us down the wonderful path of becoming breeders.
