My love for Miniature Schnauzers began when I received my very first Schnauzer, Heidi, for my eighth birthday. She marked the beginning of a lifelong love and appreciation for this wonderful breed—one that has remained a very special part of my life ever since. Jakarahlee Miniature Schnauzers is a small, family-based breeding program. Our dogs and puppies are raised in our home as part of our everyday family life, surrounded by love, attention and plenty of interaction. I am fortunate to run a home-based business, which allows me to balance managing our family business with being present to provide the consistent, hands-on care our puppies need. Breeding and raising our puppies is very much a family commitment. My family has grown up sharing my love of Miniature Schnauzers and is actively involved in their daily care, handling and socialisation. This helps our puppies become familiar with the normal sights, sounds and routines of a busy household, giving them a confident and well-rounded beginning. I believe Miniature Schnauzers are truly wonderful companions. They are intelligent, loyal, affectionate and full of personality. They can happily join their families on adventures and then be just as content curled up beside them at home. Their adaptability, low-shedding coats and loving natures make them a beautiful addition to many different families. My priority is to breed thoughtfully and responsibly, with health, temperament and quality of life at the heart of every decision. I am committed to continually learning, carefully considering the compatibility of each pairing and giving every puppy the best possible start in life. Honesty and transparency are very important to me, and I want prospective families to feel informed, comfortable and confident about where and how their puppy has been raised. I have also been privileged to support and mentor others as they began their own responsible breeding journeys. Sharing experience, encouraging careful health practices and helping others work through the responsibilities of breeding has been incredibly rewarding and has strengthened my own commitment to maintaining high standards. The relationship I form with a family does not end when their puppy leaves our home. I remain available to offer guidance and support throughout each puppy’s life and love receiving updates as they grow. My greatest reward is seeing a happy, much-loved Jakarahlee puppy become a treasured member of their new family.
