Welcome to Gold Coast Ruff Magic Cavaliers 🤎 Gold Coast Ruff Magic is a small, family-based breeding program located on the Gold Coast, specialising in Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, with a particular passion for Chocolate and Black Cavaliers. My love for Cavaliers began many years ago and over time has grown into a deep passion for preserving and improving these beautiful dogs through thoughtful, ethical breeding practices. While I originally began breeding Pugs in 2014, my focus turned to Cavaliers in 2021 after developing a strong interest in the history and genetics behind the traditional and rare colours seen within the breed. Many people are unaware that Cavaliers naturally occur in a wider range of colours beyond the four most commonly recognised today. I am passionate about helping preserve and reintroduce these beautiful colours in Australia, while always keeping health, temperament and responsible breeding at the centre of my program. At Gold Coast Ruff Magic, our breeding philosophy focuses on producing healthy, well-socialised Cavaliers with loving temperaments and strong genetic lines. All breeding dogs undergo DNA testing and yearly heart examinations with a Specialist Veterinary Cardiologist, helping us make informed and carefully planned pairing decisions for future generations. Our Cavaliers are raised in a loving family-home environment and are part of everyday life from birth. As I also run a Family Daycare from home, our puppies naturally grow up around children, household activity and regular interaction, helping them develop into confident, social and adaptable companions. Our dogs are valued family members not kennel dogs and receive daily love, handling and socialisation throughout their development. We believe early experiences play an important role in shaping happy, well-adjusted puppies that transition smoothly into their forever homes. As a responsible breeder, my commitment does not end once a puppy leaves for its new family. I am always happy to offer ongoing support, guidance and advice throughout your puppy’s life.
