I have always been surrounded by dogs my whole life. My family owned & bred dogs - my childhood was all about dogs. Then when moving out of home, I got my very own dog and when she passed away of old age some years ago now & I was devastated. Then after some time, I started researching the perfect breed that would suit & would bring love & joy to our family of 5 children. We decided on the longhaired mini dachshund & our love for the "sausage dog" grew. We couldn't stop at 1 & we have now 8 mini dachshunds, our fur family members.
