Hi I am Claire and my prefix with DogsQLD is Tirnacu. Tir na cu means land of hounds/dogs in Irish. Animal mad from a young age I graduated from Dublin, Ireland as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2012. Overtime I became more and more interested in breeding dogs and the overlap of health and genetics in the dog world. It quickly became a life goal to find a healthy medium sized breed the focus being on health and temperament. After a lot of consideration the Finnish Lapphund breed seemed to fit all the things I wanted....and are beautiful dogs as well! I visited Lauren Mills from Orical kennels in NSW, fell further in love with her dogs and the breed. I was lucky enough to be offered my girl, Croia as a Co-own dog and the rest is history. My main focus in breeding continues to be on temperament and health.
