Hello, I'm Cassie S.

I have had spitz dogs in my life since I was 9yrs old, and absolutely love their personalities. Dedicating my adult life to caring for animals and my fascination with genetics, lead me down the path of looking for a breed I could raise for other families to experience the joy of an ethically bred puppy. This lead me to the Finnish Lapphund in 2014 due to their trainability, genetically healthy population, diversity in physical appearance, no human aggression tolerance, very low incidence of same sex aggression (undesirable), proven friendliness with other common household pets and being the ultimate all rounder - happy to hang out with family, go hiking or compete in Agility/ Obedience/ Herding/ conformation and much more! Having found the breed for me I spent a few years ensuring I had everything ready and the time to dedicate raising a puppy, getting our first Lapphund in 2019. Nukka has been an absolute joy and is our foundation girl for our breeding program. You can read more about her in our dogs section. In the interest of maintaining genetic diversity and only breeding to improve the health of the Australian Finnish Lapphund community, we have started banking semen from all over the world of exceptional males in health, temperament and type to ensure a healthy future population.
