We are based in Sydney, on an acreage property with our Lappie family. We fell in love with the Finnish Lapphund breed over 12 years ago and since then, life has never been the same! We have dedicated ourselves to the breeds continuation in Australia, importing 9 Lappies from Finland and frozen semen from many top Lappies throughout Europe. As Lappies are a rarer breed in Australia, new blood lines are important in order to maintain genetic diversity, quality and health in the breed in Australia. We focus on raising well adjusted puppies that will become excellent canine citizens, and members of your family. Our puppies go through our ‘Super Puppy’ Program, to assist them to grow to become a responsible and well mannered member of your family. Our puppies excel in the show ring and dog sports, as therapy dogs and as much loved companions. When you adopt an Orical Lappie, you don’t just get a puppy, but you get a whole community of support and friendship. We have a great sense of community amongst our puppy families who regularly hold get togethers in the Sydney region where families can meet other Lappies and catch up with their puppies siblings and families. We regularly hold Lappie Open Days at our home in Sydney, for people who are interested in the breed to come to meet our Lappies and chat with us.
