From as far back as I can remember, my relationship with a trusted family dog has been a central part of life - all were quirky strays, some quite fearful needing much patience and love. By the time I created my own family, I wanted to provide my own children with the same kind of unconditional friendship. I wanted to do it right. I researched breeds and discovered the Australian Labradoodle for outstanding temperament, intelligence and low allergy coats. We got our first puppy to rear from scratch! Despite what I had read, nothing prepared me for to the marked intuition, empathy, joyousness and intelligence of this remarkable breed. Pure love and joy.
