My name is Mikaela and I am the breeder behind Westside Dachshunds. I am home with our adult dogs and puppies full time, this allows them to get my full attention all day and ensures our puppies get the best possible start to life. All of our puppies are brought up in our loving family home with young children and other dogs. I strive to produce miniature dachshunds who are confident, well socialised, healthy and have begun their journey towards being crate and toilet trained before leaving for their forever families. Our dachshunds are not just pets but members of our family, brought up around our 2 young children. They live inside our home and have a beautiful, safe and fun backyard to play outside also. Breeding and raising dachshunds is our absolute passion, we love everything about this playful, affectionate and highly intelligent breed. All of our adult dogs are DNA tested and cleared through ORIVET and have been cleared by a vet before breeding. We are happy to answer any questions that you may have and will always be available for FaceTime calls to meet ourselves and our puppies before placing a deposit. As Westside Dachshunds is a small family run ethical breeding program there can be significant wait times between our litters to maintain a moral code of ethics.
