Curlbrook Kennels is proud of our long history with this beautiful breed - many generations of our family have shared their lives and been loved by a Curly Coated Retriever over the last 70 years. The breeding history of our original lines were from the Tealbrook, Keysteel, Blazeaway and Curltriever prefixes, and proved to be hardy sound animals for the tasks that were set them, as well as being loving family members, proving that the curly is not only a very versatile breed but a wonderful companion. The Curlbrook prefix was started by my parents Jane and Clive Kibble back in the 1990's and I have now continued this family tradition with my husband James and our three children. Whilst our kennel has enjoyed success in the show ring, we aim to protect and preserve the breed and produce sound, true to type curly coated retrievers that can excel in all fields. We feel privileged to share our lives with our curlies - they are family members first and foremost.
