Hello, I'm Chelsea B.

Hi, I'm Chelsea, of Doxie Squad Dachshunds, a fifth and final year Vet Student with a passion for breeding and animal welfare. I grew up with a little red smooth hair dachshund called Basil and as an adult I bought another red dachshund called Freddie. It confirmed my love for the breed with all their big personalities and lovely natures. I haven't looked back. I made the decision in 2014 to start my breeding journey and after lots of mentoring and research had my first litter born in 2017. It has been a wild ride and now, 7 years later, I haven't learnt so much about myself, my beloved breed and I hope that it has made me a better breeder, a better person and someday, will help me to be a better veterinarian. My breeding goals have a strong emphasis on conformation, health and temperament. I aim to breed healthy dogs that are well socialised, given top quality care and have been given the most support I can for a successful transition to their new home!
