Hello, I'm Jessica R.
Hi there! I’m Jessica and I am fortunate enough to live with the Hapapi tribe, a small group of Papillons who share our bed, go on adventures with us every weekend, do training for obedience. My passion for the breed started when I was 17 and given my first papillon, “Macey” Mondelise Florentine, a desexed 1 year old. She started my passion being a spunky pocket rocket with brains and a sense of humour. From her, I entered the world of showing, started flyball and agility and now I can’t go back! These dogs are my comfort, my confident, my children, and my greatest love (don’t tell my partner!) I’m a small scale breeder, raising litters in my bedroom and nurturing every dog I bring into the world as though I was raising them to live with me for life. I believe in the absolute importance of foundational work with my puppies, so that they can face anything in life with courage. I believe that all of my dogs should live their lives experiencing the best of the world and I am so grateful I get to see their happy faces and wagging tails through puppyhood, through images and videos from their owners, and if I’m lucky, those few I keep through their whole lives.
