Welcome to Red Velvet Toy Poodles where we specialise in small, healthy, Mahogany and Dark Red Toy Poodles and Cavoodles. I have been breeding and training dogs all my life. It started as a child. My Mum and Dad trained and bred kelpies, I learnt so much from them. I transitioned to toy poodles 15 years ago when my daughter had severe allergies to most animals. She loved dogs so after a lot of research we got her a beautiful toy poodle Rose whom she did not react to. I realised very quickly how trainable, gentle and intelligent toy poodles are, so I trained Rose to help out with the chickens. She very quickly learnt basic commands and was willing to please. This started my passion for breeding toy poodles. After much research, investment, and health testing I established my own line of Mahogany and Dark Red tiny toy poodles, spearheaded by the now famous USA bloodline stud dog Tumbleweed (2.2kg). All my toy poodles are DNA tested and are clear (non carriers) of all testable hereditary diseases and health tested yearly at the vets. All my cavalier mothers are unaffected by hereditary diseases and health tested yearly. This reduces the risk of health complicated in the puppies produced. Our dogs are our pets and live with us. We are located in Hornsby during school term time where we live at a boarding school and during the holidays at the most beautiful place on Earth near Kiama, NSW. Our dogs not only socialise with my family and children but often play with the students we care for and have plenty of socialisation. We are registered breeders with MDBA (Master Dog Breeders Association).
