Europa Cavaliers are located in beautiful Upper Brookfield in Brisbane, OLD. The breeder holds a European Veterinary Degree and a PhD in Veterinary Molecular Pathology, focusing on breeding for excellent health and temperament, not pedigree. Both parents are DNA-tested and cleared with Orivet's Full Breed Profile test, ensuring that the puppies will not have any testable hereditary conditions. They are vet checked and healthy for eye, heart, patella, elbow and hip. We are informed about the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and can make informed decisions to ensure the well-being of all our dogs. To decrease the risk of common Cavalier disease, our line has been previously outbred with Cavoodle, and the pups are 88% Blenheim Cavaliers and 12% Poodles with phenotypical and behavioural features of purebred Cavaliers. The outbreeding program ensures the adequate length of the snout to avoid Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome and no Chiari (occipital) malformation and syringomyelia develops, which are unfortunately common problems in the Cavalier breed.
