Our dachshunds are part of our family. Living indoors and part of the family inside. Dachshunds are raised around other dogs, kids and cats. We are about to welcome our first litter. We are breeding for health and temperament and this litter has been thoughtfully planned out. We are hoping to keep one or two of the puppies to continue on showing with. Our foundation bitch crystal is sdmd and pra clear. She also has been back scored for calcifications for ivdd. The lower the calcifications the less likely they are to develop ivdd. This is usually performed vis xray from the age of 2. Crystal returned a result of only one calcification. All our puppies we will be keeping for our breeding program will also be backscored when old enough. We do not breed for fancy colours.
