Health is at the foundation of the Crimson Mere breeding program. Our breeding dogs undergo comprehensive DNA screening for relevant hereditary conditions, together with RightPaw’s recommended Core health testing, including physical patellar assessment. Crimson Mere currently meets 2/2 RightPaw Core Health Tests for the Miniature Dachshund. Our puppies are raised in a loving, temperature-controlled home environment, where they are part of the family from day one. We follow the Puppy Culture program, incorporating early neurological stimulation, enrichment, and exposure to a variety of animals, people, and everyday experiences. This helps our puppies develop into confident, adaptable companions. Before joining their new homes, all puppies are vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date with worming and flea prevention. Each puppy is temperament assessed to ensure the best match for their new family. Our puppies go home with a comprehensive puppy pack, and we provide lifetime support to all of our puppy families.
