I am an ecologist with 9 years experience in ecological research and environmental assessments. Gibson is a 18 month old German Shorthaired Pointer. Gibson lives for $2 kmart high bounce balls and will do anything for it. He is working reliably on finding bird and bat carcasses. Tali is a 13 month old German shorthaired pointer. She is 100% bird brained and loves to point birds, we have channeled this into a general ability to find nests or roost sites for a range of terrestrial birds by giving a passive indication (pointing) so as to not disturb the site.
