I have had animals in my life, all of my life. I'm 42 years old and could never imagine a life lived fully without the love of a dog. I remember wanting to be a vet since I was a little girl on my grandparents fruit orchard, playing with the dogs and horses as well as the pet rabbit Rambo and guinea pigs Batman and Robin. So when I finally graduated from vet school and found my groove being a mobile veterinarian in the Darling Downs, my husband and I decided we would get a French Bulldog after falling in love with one we met at a bar in Malta! It has been a steep Brachycephalic learning curve since then. And with the advent of new genetic tests, like-minded breeders and I are finally able to confidently breed for better health, so that you can love them for longer. There have been many highs and equally many lows that made me nearly give up not that long ago, but the joy these little nuggets give to myself, and to all the puppy families I still keep in contact with today, gives me the determination to keep going, to breed healthier Frenchies.
