Hello, I'm John B.
John Bruce is the Principal Breeder behind Dantapelle Australian Cobberdogs, a home-based boutique breeder in Murrumba Downs, South East Queensland, near the North Pine River. With a background as a dog trainer and behaviourist, John brought that experience into breeding, with a firm focus on health and sound temperament above all else. Every litter is raised in the family home, not in kennels. Puppies and their parents get daily love, exercise, and socialisation with other dogs and small children, and John works hands-on with each litter on crate training, leash walking, and grooming basics from an early age. Dantapelle is a proud member of the Master Dog Breeders Association (MDBA #21222). Our puppies have gone on to become wellbeing and therapy dogs in schools right across Australia, including "Pendles" at The Lakes College and "Webster" at Living Faith Lutheran Primary School, and others working in therapy environments, justics, and PTSD-support roles.
