Shirley and Co Groodles is a small, family-based breeding program located in Mudgee, in Central West NSW. We breed Medium Groodles within our family home, with a genuine love for the breed and a strong focus on raising happy, healthy and well-balanced family companions. Our beautiful girl Shirley and her stud, Gemstone Woody, are both very loved members of family. Our breeding dogs have undergone breed-specific DNA testing through Orivet, and Woody has also had his hips and elbows scored. For us, breeding is about much more than producing puppies. It is about making thoughtful breeding decisions, prioritising health and temperament, and giving every puppy the best possible start before matching them with a family where they can be loved for life. We are a family of seven, with five children, and our dogs are very much part of our everyday life. Our puppies are raised in our home, surrounded by the normal sounds, routines, cuddles and chaos of family life. We are not a large-scale breeding operation. Each litter is very hands-on, and we put a great deal of time, thought and love into raising our puppies.
