About the Breeder

A little about us

Welcome to A Country Dachshund where we specialise in breeding for health, temperament and good looks. I have breeding dogs since childhood when our family bred kelpies and border collies. Around 15 years ago I fell in love with the quirky nature of dachshunds. I established our breeding lines approx 9 years ago.

Why we got involved in breeding

I fall in love with every single litter we have and I love seeing the joy on peoples faces when they get to take their bundle of love home. I also love keeping up with their antics via social media or when families send us messages or pics.

Our special touch

Dachshunds have big personalities and socialisation with other animals, kids and noises are key from an early age. We focus on building well socialised puppies.
