Behaviour and socialisation

All puppies are raised in our house surrounded by our Bernese Mountain dog and Cairns and cat. They are handled daily, loved, and doted on. Health

Puppies have full Vet health check at 6 weeks old. They all have Bile Acid Testing to rule out Liver Shunt. All have patellas checked, Heart check and first vaccinations.

Home environment

Pups are born in our loungeroom and are part of our family from birth. From 4 weeks, they wander around our home and interact with our other pets. They are used to daily household chores, including vacuum cleaner, Tv, the clanging of pots and pans, doors slamming, and dogs barking. They are taught to be happy and…

All pups are registered with Dogs Tasmania (ANKC) and pedigree papers provided. A copy of Bile Acid testing is provided. Vaccination Certificate provided. Bag of Royal Canin dry puppy food. Soft toy Blanket that puppies have slept on so they have familiar scent in their new home.

Von Willebrand’s Disease (VWD/vWD) is a genetic bleeding disorder caused by a lack of a specific clotting factor. There are three forms of the disease, types 1, 2 & 3. A DNA test is available for each type of VWD to identify whether a breeding dog is a carrier or might be affected. The severity of VWD varies widely between breeds and individuals, ranging from life threatening, through to having no impact on clotting ability.
