Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
With seven children of large age span and the family growing we are lucky to be able to socialise our dogs with lots of children, our dogs are exposed to people with all sorts of disabilities and have been proven to be very careful and attentive with them. We have attended obedience training with our bitches since…
Health
First and foremost we bought our girls from reputable breeders with years and years of experience, knowledge and wisdom. We have a home vet who attends to our beautiful girls and has a wonderful rapport with them doing all their checks, vaccinations and basic needs at home where they are comfortable and can be…
Home environment
We don’t own kennels, nor are we what they consider backyard breeders. We are a large family with a great passion for Cane Corsi and we do the best we can to provide the right nutrients and environment to help these beautiful animals grow to their full potential and breed to the standard and to improve the standard…
Included with our puppies
Each healthy, happy, microchipped puppy with take with them to their new homes their vaccination certificate, information manual on Cane Corsi, limited registration papers, a small bag of puppy food, lead and harness, access to a Facebook group set up just for the pups in your litter so you can communicate with…
Health Tests
Core Tests(1/1)
Criticalmass Cane Corso conducts 1 out of 1 core health tests which RightPaw believe are most important to conduct for the Cane Corso.
Hip Dysplasia
Physical Test

Additional Tests
Criticalmass Cane Corso conducts 2 additional tests available for the Cane Corso.
Genetic Test
This is a disease affecting the spinal cord of older dogs, initially causing wobbliness and eventually hindlimb paralysis. It can affect a wide range of breeds. There is now a DNA test that can indicated if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.
Physical Test
These breeders have had x-rays taken on their breeding dogs to assess the quality of their elbow joints. Dogs with very low ‘elbow scores’ are less likely to develop elbow problems in the future and less likely to pass hereditary elbow problems on to their puppies.

About the Breeder
A little about us
So the Alpha of our pack is my husband Chris, he feeds the dogs, works the dogs, works with our mentor to decide on pairings, packs and unpacks us for show and does all the hard work behind the scenes that will make your puppies great 😊 Then there is me I usually handle the paper work, showing, administrative duties…
Why we got involved in breeding
Many years ago we used to breed working line German shepherds but life got busy I got extremely attached to our breeding bitch and settled with her for a while before choosing not to breed after her passing. With our first corso being purchased back in 2010 our passion for the corso grew and we spent a number of…
Our special touch
The diverse socialisation, workability, the family environment and activities/training we do that allows us to provide the sires, dams and puppies with the love and attention to help them thrive. Also the large space we can provide and extra attention we allow for the puppies. The success in the show ring, obedience…
