Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
Our puppies are born and raised inside our home. They’re exposed to household sounds and smells as well as outside nosies in the environment and recordings. We also start crate training to help puppies transition to their new homes.
Health
All our breeding dogs and outside studs are DNA tested. Our dogs are fed a raw fresh food diet. Puppies are also raised on a fresh food diet and introduced to kibble for easy transition into your home. Puppies are wormed, vaccinated and treated for fleas and ticks.
Home environment
Our dogs spend their time inside and outside. Resting or sleeping in their beds or on the lounge, playing together or with their toys. They have access to outside in our large fenced yard playing, exploring or sun baking. Our puppies spend their time inside and outside. They have an area inside and outside with…
Included with our puppies
We provide new families with regular photos and video updates, so they can see their puppy grow. To help puppies transition into their new homes puppies go home with a puppy pack that includes toys, a blanket, collar, treats, food sample (if possible), folder with paperwork and information. You will also have…

Genetic Test
Mucopolysaccharidosis is a genetic lysosomal storage disease that can cause various problems including stunted growth and bone deformities. There are a few different variants of this disease that have been identified in different breeds. For many breeds there are DNA tests available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying the condition.
Genetic Test
Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL) is a neurodegenerative disorder found in many breeds of dog. 7 varieties have been identified so far, affecting different breeds. There are DNA tests for each type, to identify whether a breeding dog might be carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), also known as ‘brittle bone disease’, is an inherited disease in both humans and animals, causing bone fragility and fracturing. As it is a genetic disease, breeding parents can be tested to ensure it is not passed onto their puppies.
Genetic Test
Sarcoglycan Deficient Muscular Dystrophy (SDMD) is a genetic disease causing a stiff gait, exercise intolerance and difficulty swallowing in young Miniature Dachshunds. There is now a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.

A little about us

I bred Labradors for over 10yrs until I injured my back and found it too hard at the time. I had planned on returning but ended up…

In 2001 I got my first Labrador and became a registered breeder. The 10 years I bred them had amazing highs and some incredibly hard lows. But after my…
