Hi, I'm Kelly W.
We are located in the beautiful Whitsundays and we love our longhaired miniature Dachshunds! We want our pups to have the best start in life and with the best homes. Thus our breeding dogs are all DNA tested and have been selected due to their beautiful temperaments.

Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
We expose our pups to various stimuli, including physical, visual and auditory. We also expose them to other animals, children and adults, as well as standard household and outdoor noises. Pups will also have commenced toilet training, and crate training.
Health
Puppies will come wormed, microchipped, vaccinated, and treated for fleas and ticks. Our breeding dogs are tested for all relevant genetic diseases, and are fed a high quality diet. The puppies will have a health check prior to leaving for their new homes.
Home environment
Our pups are whelped and raised inside our family home. They are well-socialised, and as they get older have access to the outdoor areas of our property.
Included with our puppies
Puppies will come with puppy training information, puppy raising guide, DNA results of parents, relevant health records, a breed specific care guide, starter food pack, toy, and a scented blanket.

Genetic Test
Mucopolysaccharidosis is a genetic lysosomal storage disease that can cause various problems including stunted growth and bone deformities. There are a few different variants of this disease that have been identified in different breeds. For many breeds there are DNA tests available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying the condition.
Genetic Test
Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL) is a neurodegenerative disorder found in many breeds of dog. 7 varieties have been identified so far, affecting different breeds. There are DNA tests for each type, to identify whether a breeding dog might be carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), also known as ‘brittle bone disease’, is an inherited disease in both humans and animals, causing bone fragility and fracturing. As it is a genetic disease, breeding parents can be tested to ensure it is not passed onto their puppies.
Genetic Test
Sarcoglycan Deficient Muscular Dystrophy (SDMD) is a genetic disease causing a stiff gait, exercise intolerance and difficulty swallowing in young Miniature Dachshunds. There is now a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.

About the Breeder
A little about us
We are a family that love’s everything, Longhaired Miniature Dachshunds!!
Why we got involved in breeding
I grew up with cattle and especially loved the genetics/breeding side of it all. Cattle are far too big for our property but after falling in love with dachshunds I decided to put my knowledge and love into them!
Our special touch
Our dogs get Mangoes when in season!
