Welcome to Down Under Mini Dachshunds! At Down Under Mini Dachshunds, we aim to make the process of bringing home your new puppy as smooth and stress-free as possible. From your first inquiry to the day you take your puppy home and beyond. We’re here to guide and support you every step of the way. We regularly share updates on our upcoming planned breedings so that interested families can plan ahead. If you see a pairing you’re excited about, you’re welcome to join our waitlist with a $500 deposit. This secures your place in line and allows you to reserve either a male or female puppy from that litter. Once the puppies are born, we’ll keep you closely updated with plenty of photos and regular updates so you can start to get a feel for each puppy’s personality. Puppy pick order is determined by the order in which deposits are received, first deposit gets first choice, and so on. We allow in-person viewings from 6 weeks of age, once the puppies have received their first vaccination, microchip, and full health check. Until then, we’re happy to provide regular videos and FaceTime sessions so you can watch your puppy grow and stay connected. We recommend picking up your puppy at 8 weeks of age to begin building that important early bond. Each puppy goes home with a generous puppy pack filled with essentials to help them settle into their new environment and to give you peace of mind. Final payment is due on the day of pickup and can be made in person. We love staying in touch with our extended puppy family and highly encourage our clients to keep us updated throughout their dog’s life. We’re always just a message or call away to offer support, advice, or simply to share in the joy of watching your dachshund thrive.
