Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
Our puppies are raised in the home initially, where we are able to closely monitor their early development. They have regular human contact and interact with our other dogs of different size and breed. Friends and family also come over to help socialise them. They are desensitised to the usual household noises…
Health
All parents (including semen used) are fully DNA health tested and profiled through Orivet. We vet check prior to breeding and our puppies are vaccinated and regularly wormed on schedule starting from 2 weeks of age. We feed a mix of raw diet plus Royal Canin and BlackHawk dried food to provide all the nutrients…
Home environment
We live rurally with lots of acreage, so our dogs enjoy many of the freedoms and space of a country lifestyle. We have a dedicated whelping room within our home office where I can keep very close watch over mum and pups. I often use pp60s inside the whelping space to offer them a safe haven and warmth during their…
Included with our puppies
We supply a Royal Canin and/or BlackHawk puppy pack containing a toy, blanket, food, worming tablets along with an information sheet on future care and training assistance. We sell puppies on both Limited Register as companion pets, and Main Register as show dogs, and can assist with overland and interstate…

About the Breeder
A little about us
I’m Benita, an ANKC Judge and Registered Breeder along with my husband Evan, who competes in Retrieving Trials with Gundogs.
Why we got involved in breeding
We have been exhibiting dogs since 1990 and we strive to produce healthy, sound and versatile dogs with working ability, success in the Showring and who are good companions.
Our special touch
We are very particular about where we place our puppies, ensuring at all times the suitability of their breed fits perfectly into their new owner’s lifestyle. We pride ourselves also on the forever support we offer, and will always offer to rehome our puppies if ever needed.
