Behaviour and socialisation
Our puppies are raised as part of our family, they are socialised with our adult dogs and grandchildren. They have lots of interactive toys to play with and have a large section of yard to explore. The health of our dogs and puppies is our highest priority. Both parents have had all testing relevant to the breed including hip, elbow, eye and heart testing. Home environment
Our puppies are whelped and raised in our home, when older enough they have a large section of our yard available for them to play and explore that provides both shelter, shade and plenty of sunshine. When inside the temperature is kept comfortable using air conditioning and heating.

- Physical Test
A heart certificate indicates that a breeding dog has been screened for heart disease such as DCM or MMVD. Auscultation alone is only accepted as a screening method if performed by a veterinary cardiologist or a GP vet certifying an OFA Basic Cardiac Screen. Echocardiography is an accepted screening method via GP or cardiologist.
Genetic TestThis is a serious genetic skin disease that causes flaky dry skin and footpad problems. It can occur in many breeds but is fairly common in Golden Retrievers. There is a DNA test to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this disease and could pass it on to their puppies.
