Behaviour and socialisation

We perform the puppy culture protocols on our puppies for much needed stimulation and enrichment plus critical socialisation to best develop the puppies for life with their forever families. This include exposing puppies to various noises and motions such as vacuum cleaners, TV, music, local traffic and gardening…

Health

Puppies will be: • Vet checked at six weeks old; • Receive their first vaccinations at the local vet; • Microchipped; • Wormed from two weeks old on a fortnightly basis; • Receive flea and tick treatment All of our puppies are fed a high-quality and balanced diet.

Home environment

All of our puppies are raised and whelped inside the family home and are well socialised with animals, adults and kids. We have a large suburban property, located on a cul-de-sac with a big backyard where our pups can roam around freely. Our property is securely fenced and puppies are monitored 24/7.

Canine Elliptocytosis is a rare genetic disease causing the red blood cells to be abnormally elliptical in shape, rather than round. It generally does not cause a clinical problem to affected dogs, but puppies may be mildly anaemic and smaller than others. There is a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.

Congenital Macrothrombocytopenia (CM) is a mild disease which normally does not have any impact on an affected dog’s health or lifespan but can cause concern if noticed on routine bloodwork without knowing the cause. The severity of VWD varies widely between breeds and individuals, ranging from life threatening, through to having no impact on clotting ability.
