Welcome to Moanakuri Retrievers & Spaniels. We are a small, Sunshine Coast based breeder that are passionate about our dogs! We strive to breed friendly, well-adjusted and confident puppies, educate their new owners and ensure our puppies get the love, care and attention they deserve.

Health
We feed mother and pups a quality diet of Royal Canin and add probiotic to ensure our puppies have a healthy gut. All puppies are wormed fortnightly, vaccinated & Microchipped. Both parents have been hip/elbow scored and have full DNA health screening with Orivet.
Home environment
Our puppies are raised in an enriched environment with a comfy bed, toilet and play area which included stimulating toys, different textured surfaces & space to run.

- Genetic Test
Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC) is a genetic condition mainly affecting Retrievers and Spaniels. It results in the dog collapsing after periods of intense exercise, even if they are normally able to cope with lower levels of exercise. There is a DNA test available which can indicate if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.
- Genetic Test
Canine Phosphofructokinase (PFK) Deficiency is a genetic disease resulting in low levels of the PFK enzyme. It can result in extreme muscle fatigue, muscle cramping and severe anaemia. There is a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this condition.
