Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
My family and I interact with our puppies everyday by talking to them and playing with them and always being happy and loving towards them. They are introduced, once old enough to our other dogs outside big and small and love spending time in the garden running around and seeing the chickens, geese, ducks and cows.
Health
We clean all services with a veterinary grade disinfectant constantly. We change bedding regularly making sure all puppy bedding is dry and clean at all times. Making sure food and water is fresh and all food containers are cleaned regularly. Puppies are handled with care every day and monitored closely to make…
Home environment
We raise our babies on our cattle farm. They are raised in a beautiful nursery attached to our family home with aircon, heat mats, ceiling fans, radio, comfortable and roomy area for them to nap and play.
Included with our puppies
Our puppy packs include a blanket with mums smell, Dog biscuits, milk, toys, information paperwork, change of owner, Sale Guarantee and Health Declaration.

Mucopolysaccharidosis is a genetic lysosomal storage disease that can cause various problems including stunted growth and bone deformities. Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL) is a neurodegenerative disorder found in many breeds of dog. 7 varieties have been identified so far, affecting different breeds. There are DNA tests for each type, to identify whether a breeding dog might be carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), also known as ‘brittle bone disease’, is an inherited disease in both humans and animals, causing bone fragility and fracturing. As it is a genetic disease, breeding parents can be tested to ensure it is not passed onto their puppies.
Genetic Test
Sarcoglycan Deficient Muscular Dystrophy (SDMD) is a genetic disease causing a stiff gait, exercise intolerance and difficulty swallowing in young Miniature Dachshunds. There is now a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.
