Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
Our breeding dogs are first and foremost our family pets and are treated as such. All of our dogs and their puppies are well socialised from birth with our three children. We also have a variety of other animals on our farm. We do Early Neurological Stimulation with our puppies Early neurological stimulation (ENS)…
Health
Our puppies are raised in a controlled environment and are given the very best of care. Puppies will be seen by a vet, if there are any concerns. Puppies will be wormed at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks. They are vet checked at 6 weeks old, microchipped and vaccinated.
Home environment
Our puppies are born in a temperature controlled whelping room. This also has a bed for myself to stay with the mum and her pups before, during and after birth. We have 2 separate, fenced, exercise paddocks - one with a dam for all the dogs/puppies to be able to run, play and explore. This is where you will find…
Included with our puppies
Your puppy will come with a personalised folder including Microchip Certificate, their vet card with details of their worming & vaccination status. A mum/litter scented blanket will also be provided to assist with the transition to their new homes. Puppies also come with complimentary 8 weeks of puppy insurance.

Physical Test
This is a type of hypothyroidism which can occur in any breed and can be caused by many different things. It is more common in some breeds compared to others, so in these breeds it is recommended that breeding dogs have a blood test to show they have normal thyroid levels at the time of breeding.
Genetic Test
This is a disease affecting the spinal cord of older dogs, initially causing wobbliness and eventually hindlimb paralysis. It can affect a wide range of breeds. There is now a DNA test that can indicated if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.
Genetic Test
This is a serious genetic skin disease that causes flaky dry skin and footpad problems. It can occur in many breeds but is fairly common in Golden Retrievers. There is a DNA test to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this disease and could pass it on to their puppies.
Genetic Test
Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL) is a neurodegenerative disorder found in many breeds of dog. 7 varieties have been identified so far, affecting different breeds. There are DNA tests for each type, to identify whether a breeding dog might be carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), also known as ‘brittle bone disease’, is an inherited disease in both humans and animals, causing bone fragility and fracturing. As it is a genetic disease, breeding parents can be tested to ensure it is not passed onto their puppies.
Genetic Test
Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA) in dogs is a type of genetic eye disease causing deterioration of the retina and eventually, blindness. There are a variety of sub-types of PRA, which can occur in various breeds. There are various DNA tests available to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this condition.

On our farm we have our beautiful dogs, cattle, pigs, chickens, peacocks and bees. Then there is the local wildlife. We are truly blessed to be able to live in…
Why we got involved in breeding
Our breeding journey started as a hobby because of our love of the animals. Our dogs have fantastic temperaments and I wanted to share that with the world. They are loyal, calm and incredibly smart, beautiful natured dogs.
Our special touch
We absolutely adore all of our puppies. They truly become a part of our family. We also know how excited you are for your pups' arrival home. Once chosen, we try our hardest to update you with photos and videos of your pup. You can follow along our social media pages where we update regularly. Alternatively, we can…
