Our puppies are played with daily by all of our household and get to meet a range of adults and children, as we have frequent visitors. They are raised on a high quality diet as it is imperative for healthy growth and bone development. Both parents have been xrayed and screened for hip and elbow dysplaysia, and have…
Home environment
Our puppies are born and raised in our family home and as they are "family members," all live and sleep in the house with us. We provide a stimulating environment for our puppies with age-appropriate enrichment activities. They have indoor out door access all day from our family room/ kitchen area, and are also…

Genetic Test
Congenital eye malformations in Golden Retrievers result from a mutation of the SIX6 gene. These malformations can present as a range of different eye conditions, ranging from poor vision to blindness in one or both eyes. There is a DNA test available to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying the affected gene.
Genetic Test
Dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (DEB) is a congenital skin disease that causes fragile skin, blisters, ulceration, and skin scarring. There is a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
This is a disease affecting the spinal cord of older dogs, initially causing wobbliness and eventually hindlimb paralysis. It can affect a wide range of breeds. There is now a DNA test that can indicated if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.
Genetic Test
This is a serious genetic skin disease that causes flaky dry skin and footpad problems. It can occur in many breeds but is fairly common in Golden Retrievers. There is a DNA test to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this disease and could pass it on to their puppies.
Genetic Test
Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL) is a neurodegenerative disorder found in many breeds of dog. 7 varieties have been identified so far, affecting different breeds. There are DNA tests for each type, to identify whether a breeding dog might be carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), also known as ‘brittle bone disease’, is an inherited disease in both humans and animals, causing bone fragility and fracturing. As it is a genetic disease, breeding parents can be tested to ensure it is not passed onto their puppies.
Genetic Test
Von Willebrand’s Disease (VWD/vWD) is a genetic bleeding disorder caused by a lack of a specific clotting factor. There are three forms of the disease, types 1, 2 & 3. A DNA test is available for each type of VWD to identify whether a breeding dog is a carrier or might be affected. The severity of VWD varies widely between breeds and individuals, ranging from life threatening, through to having no impact on clotting ability.

About the Breeder
A little about us
I have had a passion for dogs all of my life and with a background in veterinary nursing, breeding has always been something I've aspired to do, and responsibly.
Why we got involved in breeding
I am passionate about families having a dog that is a good fit and a pleasure to own. I believe all breeding should be ethical and responsible and with my knowledge and experience, it's something I know I can do well.
Our special touch
I have an ability to train and problem solve behavioural issues, and for many years I have consulted one on one to help families better connect with their dogs.
