Hello, I'm Kathryn S.

In 2002, I decided that after 15 years of serving my country in the Royal Australian Navy, I wanted to have a lifestyle change. I wanted to get a terrier and try my hand at dog showing. Prior to joining the Navy, I had worked on horse studs, breeding, showing and working with performance horses. I completed a two year Associate Diploma in Farm Management (Horse Husbandry). After much research, I went looking for a Norwich terrier. However being a rare breed here in Australia, I could not get one, so after meeting some cairn terriers I got a cairn puppy. So my life with terriers began. I was fortunate to be mentored by one of the senior cairn breeders in Australia. In 2018, a beautiful black and tan Norwich came into my life. My heart was taken by this boy and now, Norwich are my main breed. I still have Cairn Terriers and am secretary of the Cairn Terrier Club of NSW. However, my main focus is promoting Norwich terriers, raising the profile of the breed and introducing this wonderful breed to the public.
