I have been involved in the dog world since a child, first with a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and later, mainly with Golden Retrievers. I have been a member of dog obedience clubs for 40 years, since the age of 11. A Competitive Obedience person earlier on, I have trialled several dogs up to UD and CDX in the Obedience ring and have had several dogs involved in film and t.v. work. I have been an Obedience Club instructor and a private Obedience instructor and have been a rep for The Responsible Pet Ed Program of Vic, visiting Kinders and Schools with the dogs to promote responsible pet ownership and safety around dogs and responsible ownership of all pets. 'Trulore' was first established in 2003 with Golden Retrievers and we have also owned/shown/loved several other breeds, including our beloved Chihuahuas. I commenced breeding with Golden Retrievers under the 'Trulore' ANKC Prefix in 2003. I currently breed Golden Retrievers and Chihuahuas.
