Hello, I'm Leila W.

I (Leila) took in Hazel towards the end of 2020 to be my sidekick and to take with me wherever the wind led me. When I was working in the shearing industry she would come with me to work and loved getting to meet new people and pups every day. In 2021 I secured a full-time position in my home town and went on to meet my now husband, Josh. Hazel now spends her time either at home on the farm with our rescue cats, Dolly and Sooty, or at my parent's in town house causing mischief with their two poodles and a kelpie. We decided that we wanted to breed from Hazel not long after her first birthday and once her genetic results from EmBark came back clear. This was not a spur of the moment decision for Josh and I, a lot of consideration was put into this breeding and the selection of a suitable and healthy male was not made lightly. We were lucky enough to find Kevin from Tee's Miniature Dachshunds and organise AI at a distance of 2300km to make the perfect match. We couldn't be more excited. We definitely have not gone about this the easy way and we have done everything possible to be sure that these pups will be in the best health and be raised in a safe household.
