Hi, from Peter & Sharon. Welcome to Gramayre Groodle & Poodles. We have been breeding Groodle & Poodles Since 1990. We are ethical breeders of the highest standard. Approved by Rightpaw, Animal Welfare Victoria, Responsible Pet Breeders Association and are members of the Australian National Groodle Association. Our core breeding ethics are extremely high as we strive for continual improvement utilising DNA Health Testing & hip/elbow scores on all our breeding parents. All our puppies undergo extensive temperament evaluations between the ages of 6-8weeks of age. During our evaluations we endeavor to determine the most appropriate family for our puppies based on desired temperament. A puppy temperament test is a series of evaluations that help us gain a better understanding of a puppy’s behavior and personality by introducing them to a variety of situations and stimuli in a controlled fashion, usually between the ages of 6-8 weeks. A puppy temperament test will include a variety of situations and any of the following scenarios: • Responsiveness to play. • Reactions to gentle handling. • Reactions to slightly averse handling, like holding paws or restraint. • Willingness to approach and interact with the tester. • Sound sensitivity. • Reactions to unfamiliar flooring, like sand. • Response to toys/willingness to fetch. • Willingness to interact with strangers. • Response to isolation. • Response to elevation. Other stimulation may be introduced depending on each individual puppy to gain a better understanding of their temperament. Families can be assured when selecting a puppy from Gramayre Groodle and Poodles, the puppies are very healthy, confident and extremely happy. They come from a loving environment where they are raised in our home and socialised daily on our farm. Families all over Australia have experienced the love and joy our puppies bring with them. We are able to transport our puppies all over Australia and overseas to be with their new families.
