Hello, I'm Scott H.
Annette Hull and her husband Bruce Hull began breeding & showing purebred West Highland White Terriers in around 1968. At that time they were living on their 40,000 acre sheep and cattle property ‘Garlands Station’ at Bourke in Far Western New South Wales. Annette’s first show dog was a West Highland White Terrier call Cadwit Cassanova aka ‘Snoopy’. Snoopy attained Australian Champion status, and was successfully shown in NSW and Victoria. Anne and Bruce could be regularly seen travelling “down the line” to regional dog shows, and to Royal Shows in Sydney and Melbourne. Annette was successful because she had an exceptional eye for detail. Annette was a perfectionist. Annette knew how to present dogs for the show ring. Anne knew what she was after in a dog, and she knew how to produce a dog to win. For almost 60 years, Annette had owned and bred dogs. Some of the breeds that Annette owned included: West Highland White Terriers, Beagles, Dachshunds, Pugs, Pekinese, Fox Terriers, German Shepherds, Kelpies, Blue Heelers, Chihuahuas, Bichon Frisé, and Poodles. Today, Par Annette Poodles focuses on Miniature and Standard Poodle puppies, and also Miniature Cavoodles. Sadly, Annette succumbed to Leukaemia on 5 July 2019. Bruce stoutly insists on the family continuing Annette’s legacy by continuing to breed fine quality puppies in her honour. Par Annette Poodles literally translates to mean “Poodles By Annette”. Bruce, still has the breeding business located in Dubbo. With the help of his lawyer son Scott, and granddaughter Courtney, Bruce is able to continue the tradition. Scott travels between Dubbo and Avoca Beach where he has a home with his partner Helen, and is able to deliver puppies to the Central Coast. You are welcome to visit the puppies in Dubbo by making an appointment for a viewing. Par Annette strives to produce the best possible puppies for family pets and companion dogs and are very proud of their breeding program.
