Hello, I'm Terence and Alex H.
We're Alex and Terence, the faces behind Tidepool Dachshunds. What began with one very special dachshund has grown into a breeding program built around health, education and a genuine love for the breed. Alex is a veterinary nurse with a passion for reproduction, genetics and neonatal puppy care, while Terence combines his love of dogs with technology and innovation, continually finding new ways to improve our breeding program and the experience we provide our puppy families. Together, we're always learning, always improving and always putting our dogs first. We believe there's always something new to learn. Whether it's the latest research in canine genetics, improving our puppy raising practices or investing in better technology, we're always looking for ways to give our dogs and puppy families the very best. Our goal is simple: to breed beautiful miniature dachshunds that are healthy, confident and cherished family companions for years to come. When we're not with the dogs, you'll usually find us enjoying a good whisky or wine, discovering a new restaurant or, when we get the chance, heading underwater for a scuba dive. Those moments help us recharge before coming home to the dogs we love.
