Hi, I'm Emily S.
Emmoge Kennels was established in 1994 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. This kennel started in Standard and Toy Poodles before moving into Chihuahuas in the early 2000s. In 2004, our first Papillon joined our kennels sparking a love for this dainty, delightful breed. Emmoge now only breeds Papillons and is home…

Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
We raise our puppies using the Newborn to New Home (NBNH) and Puppy Culture protocols. We take pride in extensively preparing puppies for their new homes through socialisation and raising them as part of our home.
Health
We take health testing seriously - we have imported dogs to improve our blood lines and all our dogs are health tested and vet assessed to ensure we are giving our puppies the best start in life. We currently test by DNA for the current known diseases Papillons. Additionally, we also evaluate patellas each year for…
Home environment
Our puppies are raised as part of our home and they grow up in our lounge room. They are exposed to dogs, cats, pocket pets and livestock at our hobby farm. They meet children, adults and everything in between, as we really want to breed confident, well rounded puppies!
Included with our puppies
Our puppies come with a lifetime of breeder support, an extensive puppy pack with food, toys, leash and collar. I also supply a full guide on grooming, exercise, feeding and other useful parts of raising a puppy.

Physical Test
Dogs affected by patellar luxation have loose kneecaps that may pop in and out of the knee joint, which can be painful and even require surgery. Having a vet examine breeding dogs for patellar luxation can confirm the dog is not affected, and that their puppies are less likely to develop the condition. Patellar luxation is more common in smaller breeds.
