Hi, I'm Kerry W.
I have been involved with working and training dogs for over 40 years and have been successful within the Obedience Ring with some Obedience Champions. It was 30 odd years ago that I discovered dog showing then the delight of becoming a Breeder. I have undertaken training to become an Obedience Instructor and Raw Dog Food Nutritionist and take the holistic welfare of my dogs and puppies very seriously. Website: www.kerrishavanese.com

Behaviour and socialisation
Puppies don't leave until at least 10 weeks of age. This enables their Dam to raise them with her full care, feeding them until she chooses to wean them. It provides me with the time for a range of experiences both physically and mentally, so when they go to their new homes they are ready to take on their new environment. I undertake Puppy Culture and Volhard Testing in order to place the right puppy into the right home. Puppies are…
No puppy leaves until they have had two vaccinations and two wellness check-ups by my Vet. My puppies are raised on only a natural RAW diet so they know how to eat meat, bones and offal - all the things a carnivore should eat for prime health.
Puppies are born in the house under 24/7 care. Once they are around 3-4 weeks, they transfer to the 'Nursery' where they encounter new sights, smells and sounds. From there they move to their dedicated puppy yard where they learn to play with a large range of entertaining play toys, sandpit, ball pit, play gyms and lots of external sounds and sights. Of course puppies have lots of human interaction, play and learning.

I have, over many years, gathered a comprehensive Puppy Pack for my new owners. As a Raw Food Dog Nutritionist, I ensure that my new owners have all they need to be able to feed their new puppy all the very best of a natural diet. I provide lots of training and grooming care information along with books and many articles for the new owners. I am also available for my owners via email or phone call, as and when needed. Lifetime support…

A heart certificate means the breeder has had their breeding dogs examined to confirm they are not affected by any common heart conditions which might be passed down genetically to the puppies. This can be done by a veterinary cardiologist or a skilled GP vet. Common heart conditions include Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM) and Myxomatous Mitral Valve Disease (MMVD).
About the Breeder
A little about us
My dogs are my passion. I was lucky enough to be a member of the PAL Superdog Team, working closely with my dogs in the public eye, training and sharing all the wonderful things a dog can bring to our lives. Being able to live with them and bring puppies into the World is a blessing I don't take lightly. I spend many hours every day talking to my owners or talking to prospective owners who are considering owning one of my puppies. I live and work from home so am able to spend all my time either with or watching my dogs. It is surprising how much a human can learn by watching a dog just being, rather than always interfering. I know my dogs, I spend lots of time with my dogs and every one of them brings me joy and pleasure every day and being able to breathe in puppy breath is one of the very best things that can be enjoyed. The two dogs in my profile image were my first Obedience Champion and first Conformation Champion.
Why we got involved in breeding
After I discovered conformation showing it became a natural progression to want to breed with my winning dogs. I spent many hours at the elbow of a couple of amazing dog mentors who not only gave me their time but shared their valuable knowledge with me. I continue to study to ensure I am up-to-date with the latest news and theories on the very best way to raise my precious dogs. I don't sit on my laurels - I continue to work to be a better Breeder, a better trainer and a better owner.
Our special touch
I am very much about The Pack. I believe that dogs learn better and live happier when they have their Pack around them. I am their Pack Leader and as a strong, confident person they know they are cared for and that they can trust in my judgement and direction. Puppies go to their new homes needing a strong, confident Pack to live in and I can assist new owners in providing this for them. You will find so much more about me on my website.
